Internet accessibility and use: from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 6 pm, and on Saturday between 2 pm and 5 pm. Opening hours are adjusted to those of the Community Centre in the summer season.

Following a large-scale reconstruction, the József Attila Community Centre regained its original function in 1998. Having been a vacant building in the centre of Móra park earlier, it, as the department of the Galgóczi Erzsébet City Library today, performs public edification responsibilities again. This institution is the only community site on Szabadhegy. Its programme assortment is completed in accordance with the residents’ demands living nearby, and by exploiting the features of the institution up to the maximum level possible. Its objective is to create an attractive programme for each member of the families living on Szabadhegy.

The park, where the community centre is located, has been the site of various events and camps. The smaller halls of the community centre are appropriate for intimate community conventions and exhibitions. Theatrical plays are frequently organised. One of the rooms of the centre hosts the so-called e-Magyarország point, thus the residents of the neighbourhood can use the Internet free of charge for a half-an-hour on a daily basis. And what is more important: the community centre has been the venue of many minor communities, specialized circles, and clubs!
