EBSCO
EBSCO Publishing makes the periodicals of worldwide known presses available on the Internet by its English databases provided through its EBSCOhost search programme.
EBSCO databases can be used by the following Hungarian libraries pursuant to the agreement concluded between and by the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture and EBSCO Publishing:
- libraries of higher educational institutions;
- libraries of non-profit institutions;
- public libraries.
These databases can be used by the personnel of the licensed libraries and their registered readers free of charge. EBSCO databases can be accessed by our readers/visitors through the Internet access PCs of our library.
Prior to the use of the databases, please fill in the "Reader’s Declaration", in which you declare that you have understood the terms of EBSCO use and you are legally bound by such terms.
ACADEMIC SEARCH PREMIER (ASP)
The world’s most extensive scientific database that comprises full-length texts for the use of higher education institutions primarily. This collection of periodical articles covers the most various scientific areas: humanities, education, IT, physics, chemistry, medical sciences, etc.
BUSINESS SOURCE PREMIER (BSP0)
This database has been completed for business educational schools and specialized libraries in the first place. This is the leading full-length text database in the areas of corporate management, economical sciences, finance, accounting, international enterprise, and marketing.
MASTERFILE PREMIER
This full-length text database, which includes general, business, health care, educational, and scientific periodicals, was prepared expressly for public libraries. MasterFILE Premier incorporates the .pdf format articles of such key periodicals dating to 1975, such as the American Libraries, the Foreign Affairs, the History Today, the Judaism, the Library Journal, the National Review, the Saturday Evening Post, and the Science News.
NEWSPAPER SOURCE
Newspaper Source encompasses the selected content of nearly thirty American and international daily newspapers with daily updates (USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, The Washington post, The Times, etc.).
HEALTH SOURCE: NURSING / ACADEMIC EDITION
This scientific database comprises more than 550 full-length text periodicals in various areas of health care. Patient care and other related themes are especially accentuated.
HEALTH SOURCE: CONSUMER EDITION
The Health Source: Consumer Edition is the richest health care information source for patients, which covers particular areas, such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, drug addiction and alcoholism, seniority diseases, fitness, healthy nutrition, gynaecology and paediatrics.
MEDLINE
The owner of the database is the American National Library of Medicine, which publishes professionally authoritative medical information in the areas of medical sciences, patient care, dentistry, veterinary, health care systems, and pre-clinical sciences.
ERIC
ERIC (the Educational Resource Information Center) is an American national pedagogical information system, which encompasses the full-length texts of more than 2 200 abstracts expanded with references, as well as the references (abstracts) and bibliographical data of nearly 1000 periodicals linked to education.
