As a consequence of the donation of Reverend Molnár Vid Bertalan, the first community library hosted at the building of the vicarage was established in Gyõrszentiván in 1853. Today, the library is located in a building at Õsi u. 1. The corner building used to be a home before, but following the necessary reconstruction, it, as the branch library of the Galgóczi Erzsébet City Library, has been serving the residents of Gyõrszentiván since 1991. The branch library stores more than 20 000 books, periodicals, a local knowledge pool, and e-Magyarország point.
